August was already lining up to be a record-breaking month here on “The Blarg,” but yesterday I woke up to a pretty big surprise.
A Polish website linked to this article on “The Blarg” about Mickey Mouse attempting suicide. I don’t know what the site actually says, but it caused a huge surge in “Blarg” traffic, giving the site its biggest day to date: 665 visitors. That push also made August a record-high month, clocking in at nearly 9,000 visits and shattering the previous month’s record of 6,454.
So thanks to everyone who made August such a huge month! Thanks, Poland! Thanks, Mickey Mouse! Thanks, attempted suicide!
