Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina, you should learn a thing or two and keep your trap shut. You cry like a little girl with a skinned knee.

Well, Hannity was praising him last night for standing up for the country. He also went on to scold Obama for being a divider and not a uniter. I laugh at the hypocrisy.

Hannity is a cunt.
I’m sorry, was that out loud? Not loud enough.
HANNITY IS A CUNT.
End transmission.

Justin, I would have thought that by this point in your life (almost 40) that you would have finally put away all this college lib bullshit. I have to laugh at all the liberal comments that have no substance or any constructive
things to say other than calling people that have different viewpoints than theirs vulgar names as they sit their with their eyes glazed over praising our annointed community organizer. Maybe it was inappropriate for the congressman to yell out in that setting, but if it had been the “honorable”
Teddy Kennedy yelling the very same words at G. Bush, he would have been praised to the hilt by this very blog and by all the thousands of other
bloggs out there just like it. The word hypocrisy is defined by liberalism – I know because I was once one myself. You were raised well by your parents Justin and had a good childhood with Beth and your grandparents in this great country, so why all the hate. Think it’s time to put all the college toys away. (it will interesting to see what kind of names I get called)

First, I’m not almost 40! Don’t say that!
Second, no, no name-calling. I’m open to debate. But the name-calling I do put out there is the equivalent of the “You lie!” that was screamed out by Joe Wilson. You’re right, it’s not constructive. But this blog is meant, first and foremost, for entertainment. It’s not a spot for huge debate or thoughtful intercourse. More often than not, this site is littered with dick and fart jokes. Occasionally, I interject my opinion on the state of the world. People can take it or leave it. Either way, I don’t care.
My beliefs and reactions aren’t “college toys,” and liberalism isn’t something that fades with age, like a hairline or a good back. It’s a way of living, though I personally don’t like the term “liberal” because I think your average liberal is too much of a pussy to do much of anything. I consider myself to be even a step BEYOND liberalism, a progressive; someone who thinks that the potential for things in life can (and always will) be more. This isn’t the eighties or the sixties or the late 1700s. This is the here and now, and we as a people have adapted and evolved into something new. A better version of who we once were, just as the people a hundred years from now will be better than we could ever hope to be.
Because of this evolution, things must change. I strike down the idea of “why fix what isn’t broken” because, yes, while myself and my sister and my parents and my grandparents had it “pretty good” in this great country, maybe we could have all had it a little bit better. And keep in mind for each of us who did have it good growing up, there are a TON of people out there who don’t. So rather than sit back and be content with what I have, why not strive for something more for those who have nothing? I’d rather say unsettling things and have people pissed off at me than be settled.
And, sorry, Rick, but I’m about a million percent sure that this is how I’m going to be until my dying day. I won’t just “wake up” some day and say, “You know, I really AM conservative!” Just not gonna happen. And not marriage, or owning a house, or having kids, or being financially comfortable is going to change any of that.
You know, the irony in this is that we’re exactly the same. We just happen to be at complete opposite ends of the spectrum. You have Bill O’Reilly. I have Jon Stewart. You have FOX News. I have the Huffington Post. We’re both zealots here, Rick. You’re just rooting for your end, and I’m over here rooting for my end. And that’s cool, because this is America and we can do that here. Uncles and nephews can have open and sometimes confrontational discourse through a blog! Hallelujah!
Ain’t this country great?
Oh, and you’re wrong about Ted Kennedy. One of the common mistakes that people who read “The Blarg” make is that they assume that I’m a Democrat. I’m not. I hate both sides, though I do admit that I tend to disagree less with Democrats. But in my world, Republicans are stuck in the old days and the old ways, and Democrats only bitch and complain about it, but truly do nothing to stop it. Republicans are assholes, Democrats are bitches. And that’s why it’s time for a new order in D.C., and that time will come. I may not be alive to see it, but it will happen.
Thanks for the comment, Rick! It’s nice to have someone on here who doesn’t agree with me. Especially when I’m related to them.
HA!

I had to mention Democrats did shout at Bush once during his speech, I think it was on future finances… they were all shouting “It’s not true! It’s not true!”
Here’s something to look into “The Hegelian Dialectic” and then think about the conversations we have and why…
Peace, Love, and Freedom
ps. And I’m pissed at Obama right now especially for this new war expansion:
