The garage at the end of the road had a big yellow one on its forecourt for two years for £30,000. They used to swap it periodically for a Porsche at another garage a few miles away to make it look like they had sold it…
Our house cost less than £30,000 (it was ten years ago, but still)
You would have to be fucking blind of stupid to buy one of those things, especially with the price of petrol over here…

I’ve always said that I’m fine with Hummers (a MILITARY vehicle) being on the roads as long as it’s okay for normal people to treat them AS a military vehicle.
I think it’s okay to drive around in your Hummer as long as you don’t mind being shot at or having grenades tossed through your windows.
That seems fair to me.
