This one sucks.
We had an opportunity to interview Diller back in 2002 for “Tastes Like Chicken.” Weeks after we interviewed her, she sent the interviewer, our good friend Marla, a card; inside was a short note thanking her for the interview.
You can read the interview here.
Diller was a class act. On top of that, she was hilarious, and a trailblazer for every comedienne who followed her.
She will be missed.

Oh, how sad. This makes me want to cry. I know you thought she was pretty cool and that makes her cool in my book. RIP

It is great that she was cool and nice to you little people at TLC, but
she was 95. I don’t know how sad that is to die at 95? Good luck to all
who want to live that long.

If they start coming up with some ways to fight old age (like you’re 95 but feel like you’re 50), I’m down.

I LOVE her! She defned funny for me. As a kid I use to mess up my hair and do her laugh whenever I wanted to crack up my Dad.
The interview is great! Super questions. Thanks for the link and sharing. My favorite quote from it was “Hey, wherever I can put it” …I heard her fantastic laugh in my head as soon as I read it!. And who drew the cartoon of her? Nicely done!
Whatever death is, it certianly just got more fun with her arrival!
