After we moved out to L.A. in November 2008, Lesser was one of the first celebrities I saw out in public. After a movie at the Arclight, I recognized him while I was taking a leak at a urinal in the bathroom. He was standing next to me doing the same.
I didn’t want to bother him (and, under the circumstances, it wasn’t exactly appropriate anyway), but as we walked out of the bathroom together a guy approaching us yelled out “Uncle Leo!” and Lesser lit up.
I never said one word to him. But, hey, how many people out there can say they took a leak next to Uncle Leo?
