…and the giant Obama “HOPE” banner he had hanging on the side of his building had been replaced by a handful of these posters:
From presidents to puppies, Fairey created this poster for the country’s largest non-profit animal adoption organization, Adopt-a-Pet.com.
Inspired by Obama’s “…a mutt like me” comment, Shepard based the “model” for this piece on a dog he had as a child.
The silkscreened prints will be going on sale sometime in January and have a print run of 400, with all proceeds going to Adopt a Pet. But if your pockets are empty, you can still download hi-res versions of the poster here and print one out for yourself.
It’s a great cause and a sweet print. Of course, if Shepard had used Mr. Fabulous as the model he could have sold a million of them!

Do you think Shepard Fairey could portray an accurate depiction of Mr. Fabulous farting?

I don’t think that image could ever truly be captured by any artist.
