…when it was making the news rounds, but didn’t get around to it until now.

Draven Rodriquez, a high school senior attending New York’s Schenectady High School, submitted this photo of him to run in the school’s yearbook.

Draven Rodriquez & Mr. Bigglesworth: My Heroes

This portrait is a thing of pure beauty. It features Draven’s cat, Mr. Bigglesworth, and laser beams. LASER BEAMS, PEOPLE! LASER BEAMS!

Of course, the school initially said they wouldn’t run it, but luckily common sense won over when the school’s principal, Diane Wilkinson, agreed to let Rodriquez and Mr. Bigglesworth appear on her page… and only if she could pose along with them with her mixed chihuahua Vivienne.

Principal Wilkinson is officially the coolest high school principal ever.

Last week, my comment on this story would’ve been, “Let this kid run his photo, dumbasses.” This week, my comment is, “Bravo, Principal Wilkinson.”

I mean, it’s just a goofy, silly, ridiculous senior photo. And believe me, if anyone knows about goofy, silly, ridiculous senior photos, well… I do.
