Colonel Sanders stands alone,
Now living two better,
…and sorry for the delay in posting regularly here, but in the past ten days we’ve been dealing with a move, getting ready to go out of the country for two weeks, and a dog with cancer.
Yep, you read that correctly.
Two weeks ago, we found out this thing in Mr. Fabulous’ mouth was cancerous. Since then, she’s been in for lymph node aspirates, lung x-rays, vaccinations, and a highly invasive surgery that removed part of her upper jaw and lip.
This is the result:
The good news is she appears to be in the clear, at least for now. We’ll put more updates up here if need be, but we feel very fortunate right now to still have her around and mostly healthy. Albeit with a huge, obtrusive cone on her head.
I’ll be updating the site a bunch by week’s end, but thanks for the patience.
2015 started off like shit,
It still sucks,
…every Christmas (except last year, when we had to improvise). This past Christmas was no exception.
We call this annual event Kissmas.
Last week, while digging through these old photos from October 1996, I also came across this photo:
From what I can tell, this photo is from the very first Kissmas my Uncle Kevin and I ever celebrated. It was taken on Christmas Day 1996.
That’s nearly two decades of kissing a man with a mustache. A man who, for the record, I’m not related to by blood!
Gonna have to print a book someday,
