Safe travels, Beth!

…after living together for the past three months.

We’re obviously sad to see her go—especially since she changed a ton of Grey’s diapers while living with us—but we’re excited for her to start her new life in Hawaii. And besides, now we have a reason to visit Hawaii again!

Mahalo, Beth! Or Mele Kalikimaka… or something like that.

Haven’t been back since 2010,

Hawaii Vice!

…for these goodies from Hawaii!

I’m gonna smoke that cigar on my private island… also known as my patio,

…while out in Hawaii, so look for a few photo uploads over there. Or you can avoid Twitter altogether and just go straight to my Twitpic page.

My life really isn’t that fascinating,

KB and I are off to Hawaii for one last time (at least for awhile). I’ll try and update the site while we’re away but probably not as often as I usually do.

I hope everyone enjoys the “Lost” series finale on Sunday!

…from “The Los Angeles Times.”

First, this article and video featuring a “Lost” tour of the island. Also be sure to check out this photo gallery of the island tour.

Next up, check out this article about wrapping up the show. Finally, get your interactive on with this map that features shooting locations around Hawaii.

Heading to Hawaii one last time,

New Shadyton,

This is the first installment of Jay and Jack’s tour of “Lost” shooting locations around Hawaii, so be sure to check back next week for the second part.

Big brother is watching… these videos,

…there’s going to be a scene that takes place in a parking lot. The scene is between two main characters; one of them is Hurley.

That’s the scene Kathy and I were almost in!

When we were out in Hawaii last October we had an opportunity to be extras in that scene. Unfortunately, due to crazy schedules and a departing plane later that evening, we decided to pass on the chance.

But keep your eyes peeled for that scene tonight! The extras driving around in the parking lot, that was supposed to be us!

Heading back to Hawaii in twelve short weeks,

…but somehow it slipped my mind.

When Kathy and I were in Hawaii last month, we had an opportunity to accompany my sister Bethany, Jorge and Evie to the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra.

During one segment of the performance, Michael Emerson read the popular children’s book “The Story of Babar” while the orchestra, led by principal conductor Andreas Delfs, played a soundtrack in between page reads.

Let me tell you, folks, you haven’t lived until you’ve seen one of television’s most notorious villains read a classic children’s book in a faux French accent. Pretty frickin’ awesome.

After the performance, we had a chance to hang out backstage for a little bit.

Even more frickin’ awesome.

Cooler than my Batmobile picture,

Old Poop!
