NIN FOREVER... in concrete.

…but high-five to the person who did!

I did do this one though,

…for recently getting his first (and possibly last) tattoo.

Normally I’d say that getting a tattoo at 18 years old is a terrible idea, but this tattoo has a special meaning behind it.

Our late grandfather, known lovingly by most as Hi-Guy, had the same (for the most part) tattoo of Flower from “Bambi” on his arm. Matthew’s tattoo is a nod to a man we all loved very much.

Great stuff, Matthew. He’d be proud of you… and then he’d make fun of you and call you a knob.

Next thing you know Matthew will be digging in dumpsters,

…for protesting in Madison yesterday against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and his attacks on both educators and the middle class.

Proud to share blood with her,

…who voted to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” today, and a big thumbs-down to the 31 senators who voted against it.

Also, a giant “BOOO!” on the soul of hypocrite John McCain, who back in October 2006 stated on “Hardball with Chris Matthews” the following:

“And I understand the opposition to it, and I’ve had these debates and discussions, but the day that the leadership of the military comes to me and says, ‘Senator, we ought to change the policy,’ then I think we ought to consider seriously changing it because those leaders in the military are the ones we give the responsibility to.”

You are a liar, McCain! May you be remembered as such. Oh, and as a loser.

Legalizing gay marriage is next,

Good job!

Suck on that, haters,

You may already know these high-fiving guys from Funny or Die. The following videos were produced by Almost Twins (real names Jake Szymanski and Jack Packard, with friend Bob Turton stepping in as the other high-fiver), two cousins who have succeeded in making me laugh quite a few times.

A few days ago, the duo released their newest high-five installment. This time, the guys high-fived their way around Miami just before the Super Bowl.

Check it out:

They’ve also high-fived around Los Angeles:

And Washington, D.C. during Obama’s inauguration last January:

But while clicking around their page on Funny or Die, I happened across this high-five video that I had somehow previously missed. Of course, it’s funny; but what caught me by surprise was the song that’s used in the video. The song is “Victim to the Beat” by Milwaukee rapper Kid Millions.

I mentioned the song here back in August.

Now, the thing is, that song is fairly obscure unless you’re from Milwaukee. So I checked out Almost Twins and–guess what?–they’re from Milwaukee. Not only are they from Milwaukee, but we have a few friends in common.

It’s truly a small world, folks.

I have to admit it makes me proud that these guys call Milwaukee home. Them, and Dahmer.

Milwaukee’s best export is funny,
