Actually, if you look at them, they’re two different dresses. We bought just plain white dresses, then dyed them with some RIT (I think that’s what it’s called) for the same amount of time so they would be the same color. Hope that helps, and good luck!
Also, if you end up doing it, send photos! Would love to see what you come up with!

Hi! My friend sent me a link to this, suggesting me and my boyfriend try this for Halloween. It’s frikin’ fantastic. I cannot for the life of me find two dresses similar enough that will fit both him and I. Did you get them online? Any help would be so great. :) Amy

Hey, Amy! Actually, if you look at the dresses they’re NOT the same. We bought two generic cotton WHITE dresses, and then dyed them blue with Rit. It’s impossible to find two that will fit the both of you, so my suggestion is to find two that are close, white, and then dye them the color you want them to be. Hope that helps, and good luck!

PS: Not sure where you are, but we found ours almost immediately while walking around the fashion/garment district in Los Angeles. Not sure if that will be possible for you or not, but that’s where we got them. Two different storefronts, but fairly close to each other. If you don’t live in LA you should check out a fashion/garment district near you if you have one.
