I resent them for leaving… but my liver thanks them,
…is (hopefully) taking part in a documentary called “View From a Sidecar.” Conceptualized and directed by filmmaker Norman Lehnert, the documentary will follow Matt and Norman as they travel from New York City to Los Angeles along what’s left of the old Route 66.
Oh, and they’ll be doing it on a vintage, 1946 BMW R71 motorcycle. Matt will be driving. Norman will be his passenger in the sidecar. And cinematographer Travis MacRitchie will be following along and filming it all.
The fellas are trying to raise $20,000 on Kickstarter to fund the project and they’re already moving toward their goal at a good clip. Learn more about the film, check out the trailer, and become a supporter yourself here.
